One-on-One Support

Support Workers are on a one-to-one basis with each resident. While the administration will be provided centrally, each Support Worker will be the first point of contact for residents, their development and their interaction with external bodies. Project Managers will be selected based on their individual skill sets and passion for accomplishing the life-changing journey for the residents in the program. The project / Business Development Manager will be qualified and have a background in youth supportive services, teaching and re-skilling the hard-to-reach, career advisor, facilitator and employment support. Responsibilities include  • Identify and acquire housing • Deal with all logistics in making housing fit for occupancy  • Interaction with Social Services and referral agencies • Interview and placement of potential residents. • Creation and ongoing review and adjustment of personal development plans • Meticulous record keeping. • Arranging individual / groups educational programmes. • Arrange educational (e.g. cookery) home visits / lessons • Arrange educational field trips (e.g. Social services, dentist) • Manage budget for each house • Emotional support and anger management.  • Being on call 24/7 – or arranging contingency.
The overall responsibility of the Project Manager is the resident, their house and improving their life skills and behaviours.
